Brewed to be light in body with mild malt character balanced by delicate hoppy notes of orange, passion fruit and peach from Galaxy and Citra hops.

Pale yellowish-orange and hazy body capped with a thick, soapy head. Faintly fruity and citrus aroma; soft notes of lemon and, perhaps, pineapple; a touch of lightly toasted grain. Fine light grain and lemon-like flavors; nice balance of gentle sweetness with some pungent hop bitterness; lemon bread. Medium-light body; respectably light residual sugar presence producing a fairly full mouthfeel; primarily gently sweet overall but does have a bit of dryness at the finish.

There is no dating information on the can, so it's up in the air as to the beer's age. There was little substantial hop smell and the claimed orange, passion fruit and peach elements, if there, were difficult to discern. Still, the beer is decent enough and easy drinking...

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 26, 2019. Brewed with Galaxy and Citra hops. Notes of orange citrus and stone fruit. Light to medium in body.

This is a NE style Pale Ale that comes in at 6.2%. Being a pale ale it's a little lighter in color and not as hazy as their NE IPA's. It does have the aroma of grapefruit, passionfruit, and peach but the taste is lacking a little bit. It's a bit thin and light but not a bad NE pale ale.

Hazy yellow with a finger of white fluffy foam. Orange, mango, peach, apricot, grapefruit, passion fruit, and lime in the nose, mild hops. Taste is mild on the hops as well, slightly sweet from all of the fruit, tons of citrus. Feel is a little thin, but plenty hazy.

Pours a cloudy pale orange, slight amount of fluffy lacing. Smell is slight citrus, grapefruit, peach, some dank pine, malty wheat, almost buttery. Taste is mildly citrusy, a little pine. Light body, slightly dry finish. Probably waited too long to rate it, thought I enjoyed it more with earlier cans.

Canned 5/17/19; drank 6/2/19 @ the Yarchives.

Cloudy orange/yellow appearance.

A violent pour yielded a HUGE off-white head; a thick curtain of tree-rung lace.

Pine, table sugar, grapefruit & dry wheat notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Cream, lemon & grapefruit flavors up front; table sugar & faint pine notes on the finish.

A poor example of the New England IPA style; dry, pine-y & the sweetness tastes a bit artificial. It's drinkable, but not much more than that.

16oz, canned on 5/17/19. A fluffy white head holds incredible retention atop an opaque peach colored ale. Juicy pineapple, mango, and tangerine aroma. Refreshing juicy Citra and Galaxy hop flavors of tangerine, passion fruit, Mandarin orange, and mango, with mild lemon-lime, peach, and white grape in the background; malt is very mild with a slight hint of nutty carameled grain. Extra creamy and smooth mouth-feel, carbonation is perfect, bitterness is modest allowing the juicy hop flavors to ride out the bittersweet finish. This is great! I hope to see this on the shelves all summer.

Looks and pours like unfiltered peach nectar juice.

Smells sorta like white peaches but I'm not getting much orange on the nose.

Taste is balanced bitter APA that surprised me since it looked to be more of a hazy tropical one. I was expecting a bit more orange and passion-fruit based on the label.

Feel is slightly thin but is crisp enough.

Decent overall but kind of a let down @ 6.2% abv I was thinking it would be more interesting but is just a hazy looking APA versus citrus tropical burst of hops at low bitterness and body. It got better as it warmed up after pouring at fridge temp but compared to other energy city beers I"ve had , I enjoyed it less.
