Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on June 14, 2019. Featuring a boatload of Centennial and Columbus hops for dank herbal character supported by notes of citrus and tropical fruit.

The look was a hazy lighter orange color. The aroma had some citrus with orange and some lemon. There was also some grassiness in the smell but there was nothing pronounced in the smell. The taste had the citrus first and then a very earthy almost spicy taste. This was a very dank and earthy tasting beer.

Hazy orange body with a thin white ring. Smell features melon, pineapple, orange, grassy and dank hops, but no real star aroma. Hops are super green and more vegetable than anything, especially as it warms, drowning the nice fruit from the nose, but hey this is an ipa so bitterness is welcome, just needs the balance. Feel is green and dank, a little too green.

Pale orange with almost green hues, light lacing. Light tropical citrus notes on the smell. Taste is mild citrus, light bitter hops. Feel is slightly juicy, light body, dry finish, very little alcohol presence. A very light example of the style. Better than the scores indicate.

Herbal, malt sweetness, orange, very light bitterness, thinner body
Reminiscent of some Three Floyds hoppy beers from a few years back. Not something i'd immediately think is an NEIPA

16oz can. I gave away my can holder today, but I think it was dated 5/23/19 - it's super fresh regardless. Pale yellow hued ale with a touch of gray; foamy off-white head. Fresh earthy green hop aroma with some grass and pine. Very earthy, herbal & dank, piney hop forward flavors: very pungent and quite bitter; grapefruit, pine resin, grass. Fuller body, very resinous, moderate carbonation, hops are slightly hot on the throat, some nutty malt comes through in the pungent earthy pine finish. Very flavorful beer here, but next time I'd go with something more tropical fruit flavored if I were to buy something within the style...like its brother - Hop Jon!
