16oz can. Thanks to Eric for trading Energy City beers with me! Opaque purple body is topped by a frothy and chunky pinky-purple head that contains obliterated blueberries. Aroma is tart fruit - some nuances of blueberry, along with faint maple. Sweet and tart flavors that meld well together: blueberry, maple syrup, tropical fruit, and mild lemongrass. Very full and creamy body - a bit gritty, moderate carbonation, tart and sweeter finish with a slight bitterness. The brewer is definitely thinking outside the box with the maple syrup addition. I like it, but wouldn't get it again.

Comes in a 16 oz. aluminum receptacle. Label is uncoated #80 bristol stock, earthy short-grain texture; machine cut and affixed to the outside with industrial adhesive. Liquid is cold to the touch, some resistance when moving fingers. Tastes primarily of Blueberries, cinnamon, cardamom, cacao, persimmon, oak. A hint of maple syrup, cactus, horse chestnut, guama, cucamelon, lime, breadfruit, barbary fig, bush tomato, quandong, pencil yam, pigweed. Very subtle notes of ironbark, chutney, red banana, orange pulp, papaya.

Tasted in a Rastal Teku from a one pint can on April 4, 2020. Berliner-style weisse beer with blueberries and maple syrup added after fermentation. Tons of fruit. Thick full body.
