Look is deep, rich, and opaque. Don't spill this on your carpet. Smells strong of maple which I wasn't really expecting. The taste is heavy on the maple syrup and blackberries. Great compliments to each other and I like that it isn't so busy.

I really love the mouthfeel of this one. Coats nicely and is almost like tomato juice consistency.

Would be a great breakfast beer, pairing nicely with some brunch items. Really enjoyed this and am excited to try more from this brewery!

16oz can. No dating information found.
Muddy, dark beet red colored body. Quick fizzy head disappears after a minute or so. Leaves a haze on the drinking side of the glass.
Aroma smells like a pancake with fruit, and maple syrup poured over the top. Maple syrup smell is prominent.
Taste is fruit and syrup sweet, but has a bit of tartness. The berry gets a little stronger in the aftertaste.
Thick and coating mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
This does not taste like a beer, but does fulfill the blueberry pancake description. Well made for what it is. Natural type flavors and well balanced. Quite amazing that this can be included in the beer family. Is there a category for milkshake kettle sour?

L: Pours an opaque maroon. Deep pink head dissipates quickly.
S: Smells strongly of maple syrup when you open the can which is a little off putting. The blackberry is present, but hidden under the maple syrup.
T: Tart blackberry, sweet maple syrup, and dough? Balanced. Not too sweet or tart. Actually tastes like blackberry pancakes.
F: Thick, rich mouthfeel
O: Accomplished the goal of tasting like blackberry pancakes. An interesting beer for sure!

This beer pours a dark, thick maroon color with a very fast, fizzy head. The lacing looks like leftover fruit pieces from a smoothie. The beer looks amazing. It's like thick fruit juice.

The smell slams you in the face with maple syrup, which is odd given how this looks. A deeper breath reveals blackberry underneath. In the words of my wife - that smells like a pancake.

The taste is a bit tart at first but then hits you with maple syrup and blackberry. They blend nicely on the finish making a sweet, tart, fruity mix that's really good. There's no hint of the 8% ABV.

The mouthfeel is very thick but with a medium fizzy feel. The maple lingers through the finish.

Overall, this is delicious. It was successful in going for a blackberry pancake flavor.
