Ordered this from Tavour and let it chill in my fridge for a couple weeks. Poured into an imperial pint glass.
Look: blackish brown with a good two finger tan head that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing at all.
Smell: sweet, fruity, Hershey’s chocolate and booze.
Taste: super sweet up front, followed by some rich chocolate, with big orange fruity flavor that hangs on because of the thickness of the beer. No bitterness at all. The booze is well hidden by the fruity orange flavors that dominate the flavor profile.
Feel: full body, syrupy, no carbonation and not particularly drying. I suppose the lactose makes this even thicker on the palate, and the glass hangs onto the beer which I guess is proof of the feel relative to look.
Love the stouty boldness here, but holy cow the fruit and sweet notes are so dominating that it is difficult to get through he sweet fruit notes and taste the chocolate. If you like super sweet and fruity stouts that have hints of chocolate flavors but intense chocolate fruity smells, this is for you. For us? Not as much... just not quite what they said it was on the can.
Cheers everyone!

Murky brownish black appearance with medium light carbonation. Has at least an average body with a slight thick creamy feel.
Aroma is milk chocolate, oranges, dark roasted coffee, roasted malt, orange Creamsicle.
Taste is very close to chocolate covered oranges with black coffee and roasted malt.
There's an orange Creamsicle taste as well
Very intere, flavorful, and well done novelty dessert beer

A The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a quarter finger high tan colored head that quickly died down but left a wide collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of oranges are present in the nose along with notes of milk chocolate.
T: The taste has moderate flavors of milk chocolate along with notes of oranges.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this stout had a very nice balance between the chocolate and orange flavors in the taste.
Serving type: can
