A: The beer is very hazy dark purple in color and has some hints of pinkish/whitish hues. It poured with a finger high dense dark pink head that died down, leaving a minuscule collar around the edge of the glass and lots of small fruit particles clinging to the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of raspberry purée are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but also has additional notes of white chocolate, the latter of which lingers into the finish.
M: It feels a bit shy of being medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation. There are faint bits of raspberry particles and a slight amount of smoothness (from the chocolate) on the mouthfeel.
O: I thought that the white chocolate made a nice addition to this beer as it helped to balance off some of the sourness.
