The Things We Don't Say: Craft Beer For Mental Health project is an effort among the Craft Beer community and its supporters to encourage everyone to start the conversation about their mental health, take the time to get educated, and to bring attention to the available mental health services in our local areas.
In true Energy City fashion, we couldn’t resist dressing up our The Things We Don't Say. We started with a hazy IPA base beer, added a lavish dose of sweet juicy pineapple, paired it with colorful pomegranate, and topped it off with Enigma hops to create a spectacular ensemble. We hope you’re inspired by this beer just as we’re inspired by the Hope for the Day campaign.

16oz can from Tavour. Ruby colored pour, fine off white head. Pineapple prominent in the aroma. Taste is sweet, pineapple, zesty, with some berry notes, fruity. Pretty bold flavors compared to the rest of this series.

A: The beer is nearly opaque reddish purple in color. It poured with a quarter finger high pink colored head that left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of other tropical fruit and hints of spicy hops.
T: The taste follows the smell and starts off with flavors of pineapple but there are stronger flavors of pomegranate, Hawaiian punch, and hints of spicy hops.
M: It feels medium-bodied and faintly "slushy" from the fruit pulp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very unique compared to the other beers in the style and is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of tropical fruits.
