Copenhagen 25/ 2021. 47,3 cl can from Dinøl webshop. Yellow squares on a purple background on the can.
Pours murky burgundy with a small pink head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet, sugary, pastry scent mingling with more subtle sour notes. Banana bread, brown sugar, peanut butter. Citrus and unripe berries.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, oily, creamy texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet. Lingering. Finish is smothered in peanut butter.
More flavored than Berliner Weisse. If you like to cram your morning pastries into a can this will be a winner.
