Cloudy orange color. Big, yellow head. Mango, pineapple, and banana in the aroma. Same notes in a creamy, sour-sweet taste. Another tasty smoothie sour.

Look: super hazy, dense yellow color, as blended banana, pineapple would look.
Smell: creamy, tropical citrus. Got to steal BEERchitect’s perfect description, “essence of banana split”.
Taste: like the nose, sweet, creamy, with a bit of tart.

Pours an orange color with the consistency of apricot nectar. Aroma of fruit juice. Taste is tangy mango and banana with a hint of pineapple. Not too sweet.

For a beer that drinks like a smoothie, this is not your normal Berliner Weisse. So grab a straw and pour yourself a glass of Energy City's mango, pineapple and banana fueled sour ale.
Rich and pastel in its appearance, Bistro Smoothie Mango Pineapple Banana is dull and matte with golden and yellow overlays. As a clinging and clumping foam patiently pulls from the dense body underneath, the scent is an appetizing collection of fresh tropical fruits and brisk tartness to capture that essence of banana split quite well. Sweet in its initial taste, the flavors kick off with a pastry and cereal focus with a starchy creaminess of vanilla and cream.
Underneath the persistent malt influences lie a tart and succinct sourness of green apple, lemon, lime, gooseberry and grape that create a clean lactic tartness to complement the tropical fruits perfectly. Banana flavors take center stage with complementary pineapple and mango in tow with nuanced papaya, passionfruit, guava and orange flavors lurking behind. Vanilla cream gives the beer a smooth balance to the acidity late on the palate.
Full bodied, creamy and truly smoothie-like, the beer's mouthfeel is creamy, rounded and starchy with sourdough and fruit puree for a medium-long linger of all-things-banana split.
