Copenhagen 19/12 2021. 47,3 cl can from Dn Øl web-shop (dinol.dk). Yellowish can where a blackberry is hovering.
Pours murky burgundy with a small pink head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense and overwhelming. Plums and blackberry soaked in sweet almond liqueur mingling with tart, sour notes. Marzipan, vanilla, sugar and chocolate. Try sour unripe berries.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, viscous, oily, slightly spicy, soft, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a light tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet, sugary and pastry-like. Lingering. Finish is sweet boozy berries.
Velvet Pastry Bomb.
