Having this beer on-tap at the brewery. Served in a barrell shaped like pint glass, this beer draws a clear, deep amber copper color with a nice white head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Head eventually settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass along with some decent lacing. Aromas of toasted, biscuity malt sweetness along with pumpkin is nicely present. The flavor profile is pretty much the same, with toasted, biscuity, caramel malt sweetness that’s dollowed with pumpkin and pumpkin spice. Actual pumpkins are used in this beer and the flavor profile certainly reflects this. The taste is rounded out with a slight earthy hop bitterness. Has a somewhat crisp, also slightly smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a slightly grainy finish and slightly dry and bitter aftertaste. A good beer here all around.
