On paper this sounded just OK - a lighter porter loaded with extras. The execution was better than expected.
It pours a pretty black with fine tan head. The aroma tells the story - smores are coming. The taste is a great balance of a slightly roasty porter with marshmellowy extra goodness that does not overtake the flavor. The mouthfeel is expectedly thin, but it still works.
Recommended. I usually prefer bigger, more robust brews but this one is perfectly enjoyable while still being very much on the lighter side.

Having this on-tap at the brewery. Served in a barrell shaped pint glass,?this beer draws a very dark brown, almost black color with a nice, slightly off-white headcthats about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles to a medium sized ring lining the inside of the glass along with bits of lacing here and there on the inside of the glass. Aromas of roasted malts with chocolate and coffee notes. The taste follows suit, with hints of graham cracker and marshmallow as well offer a unique spin to the overall flavor profile here. Rounded out with a bit of earthy hop bitterness. Has a slightly crisp, mostly smooth, just slightly oily, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has an overall clean, slightly grainy finish and a sweet and slightly dry aftertaste. A very good beer here overall.
