From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude! This decent
marzen pours a dark amber with a moderate head of white foam that settles to
a thin ring and light dusty layer. Nose of caramel malts, light herbal hops, and
some toasted malts. Flavors surpass the nose with a nice presentation of caramel
and toasted malts dashed with herbal hops and some peach notes as well as a
dash of cherry cola (??). Mouth feel is medium, medium light leaning towards light
carbonation, smooth, and finishing decently balanced.

Overall, a solid little brew that needs some better depth but still nice.

Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating that noticed on the can or label. Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a mostly clear orange/amber color with almost an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Not much to the aroma at all. Smells like some toasted and caramel malt but not much else. Doesn't smell bad though. Luckily the taste does have a lot more of a kick, it's mostly malty but has a bit of herbal hoppiness noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and it's easy enough to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Overall I liked this one but had to knock it down somewhat due to the weaker aroma. Wouldn't mind trying this one again in the future though!

All together this was decent but the feel is...so watery. The tastes are there but for this tier of Marzens I'd probably prefer Market Garden, Lagerheads, or Working Class if I can't find Great Lakes or Fatheads. Probably not messing with this one again

12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours amber with nice clarity and transparency; small light khaki head that fades leaving great creamy retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have hints of caramel and cherries. Some crackers and toast. Malts are there. The flavors follow the nose. More caramel and cherry. Some cocoa in the mix. There's a nice amount of toast coming through. Subtle sweet stickiness, but it's still ultimately clean. Moderate to low bitterness. Solid malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's fluffy, slick, slightly sharp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a solid Oktoberfest. Solid aromas and flavors. The craftsmanship is on point. It's enjoyable. Not bad at all. I like it.
