CAN
Pale amber with fine mist; orange peel, a touch of caramel + not much else; thread of toffee, then lots of juicy clementine, candied pears, specks of dried apricot, a touch of mango + Jelly Baby finish; clean + round
3.75 3.75 4 4 4.25
Simcoe, Citra and El Dorado
Time stamped “158” which (if Julian) is… June 7th? Yeah, this ain’t fresh. Coming across with a lot of orange - that’s not the first or even third note I’d expect from this hop bill, so I gotta think it’s the last man standing as the tropical faded. Shows signs of good construction (though lacking in NEIPA bonafides, which confuses me) but not hitting the way a 8.6%er should. Catchya fresher next time, Boombox.

Poured from a 473ml can. From web site "brewed with our BFFs from Twin Sails with Simcoe, El Dorado and Citra."
A: Pours a hazy orange/amber with a thin white head/minor lacing.Lots of micro floaties.
S: A sweet tropical fruit nose, reminds me of a fruit salad.
T: Fruit filled hit a bit sweet for a double but very smooth and hoppy.
F: Medium body nice carbonation.
O: A real fruit bomb here easy drinking but that 8.6 is sneaky..
