Poured from a Crowler dated 2/26 into a mason jar with 3 fingers of head that is quite happy to linger in the glass. Just a shade lighter than tar with cocoa highlights. Aromas of black bread, hazelnut, molasses. Creamy mouthfeel with a pillowy soft finish — extra quaffable. An even-handed, well made brew that stays it’s lane unpretentiousnessly.
