About Us:
Brewery x Restaurant x Full Bar
Why do we call ourselves Wet City? When the rest of the nation went dry during Prohibition, Maryland was the only state that refused to pass an enforcement act to support the federal restrictions. Instead, Maryland was determined to keep on drinking despite pressure from the feds and other states. Thanks to stubborn, free-thinking Maryland rule-breakers, the Chesapeake Bay became the prime port of call for the nation’s bootleggers, making Maryland the wettest state in the union.
Our fair city of Baltimore served as the nation’s center of resistance to prohibition and you better believe that sales and consumption of alcohol kept on keeping on right up until the rest of the nation caught up with us and repealed Prohibition. We love calling Baltimore our home and think this wet city’s history is worth bragging about.

Across the street - technically two - from my complex. Tucked into an older bldg with a nice bar, and good seating (most of the time - it gets packed every now & then). It can get VERY loud, some sound absorbing wallcovering would be a nice addition. The small staff is friendly & knowledgeable (and remembers your preferences). The beer selection is quite good if biased toward sours & IPAs w/liberal tasting encouraged. The menu & specials consist of a variety of elevated "pub grub" selections w/some interesting twists.

Visited on a rainy Saturday night, was surprised that the space wasn't busier. Lighting is bright colors, but dimmer than I would like. Nice atmosphere though, complements the art on the walls well. Menus for food and beer were located at the entrance. Beer lists were updated as kegs kicked. Excellent selection, prices for a full pour were fair, but a bit high for the half pour option (still glad to have the option though). Bartenders were friendly and approachable. Selection was small, but high quality, leaning towards IPA's and sours with some pilsners, stouts, etc. Overall I really enjoyed my visit and look forward to returning in the future.
