Copenhagen 27/2 2022. 33 cl bottle from Beerdealer web-shop. Painting of a silhouette of a lonely bird resting on a branch on the label.
Pours clear mahogany with a midsized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and a bit sugary odor mingling with dark fruits. Caramel and toffee. Plums and raisins. Brown sugar and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flt texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with bitter edge. Lingers for a while. Boozy and sweet finish.
Run of the mill Belgian Dubbel. Sweet, boozy and not without potency.
