Heavy on the citrus, not something I’d buy again.

This is Seven Stills flagship.
It pours a muddy straw brown. Mild bitterness, lightly rounded. There’s just not much going on. I’ve had it from a can and on tap and left feeling underwhelmed both times.

Way too much citrus.. Almost astringent.. I think this might be a dud but I'm not too sure. Very very medicinal. Really bad

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap

S: Lots of citrus up front along with some earthy undertones. Light tropical fruitiness as well

T: Follows the nose, but gets a little mellow. Starts off with the citrus (big mosaic presence) and goes into some tropical notes before picking up lighter, earthier undertones as well as some bready maltiness. Finishes with lingering mosaic citrusy notes

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. On the softer side

O: A solid hazy IPA that is very easy to drink. Doesn't try to over-do it. Check it out

The Haze Craze:
This tasty treat has now achieved "refrigerator beer" status (achieved when stocked continuously in the fridge for 90 days or longer). I'm totally addicted to hazys now but they have to be fresh and my market has these when they're two weeks old. The worst thing about this brew is that everyone else who opens my fridge likes it too and and I have to keep buying more. The 12oz cans in a 6 pack carton is cheaper and much more convenient than a ring of 4 premium pints.

Update: During SF Beer Week 2020, at the Richmond Republic's Hazy IPA blind taste off event, our favorite out of the 10 we tried turned out to be This Beer.

Update 2022: had a spoiled one from a case purchased by H. Possibly due to temperature fluctuations/aging and could be the reason for some of the negative reviews. When fresh, this beer is amazing. PLEASE ALWAYS KEEP IPAs COLD, People and don't let them age more than 2 months.

12oz can from a recent GABF drop in Denver. Light yellow, hazy. Hoppy aroma and flavor but for Mosaic hops I expect more punchiness. This is ok but for hazy IPA’s it will definitely get lost in the shuffle.
