Both the smell and taste came across more pleasantly. The taste especially gave more of a balanced light cereal and light fruit juiciness than my first experience.
Overall, much tastier and balanced across the board.
----------------
Orange juice-colored body and clarity; thin yet lasting white head. Slight aroma of light malt with diminutive presence of citrus pith; very faint grapefruit. Bitter and acidic taste with an underlying biscuit flavor; alcohol. Medium-heavy body; velvety mouthfeel pierced with a sharp dryness and biting booziness.
An interesting beer but not one I would search for again (I have one can left). It looks okay but the taste and feel just don't jump out at you with much more than biting bitterness and dried citrus peel.

Quite cloudy yellowish amber stuff with plenty of foam in the snifter. It's fizzy on the tongue and very, very sharp. Aroma of pears and citrus. Unripe peach flavor is quite distinctive.
Pleasantly fruity with barely a trace of bitterness. Peppery and fruity-tangy. The acidity catches up with you, though. This is number 023 in the "Hype Can Series." From the 16 oz can purchased at Healthy Spirits on Castro.
