Picked up a can of this in Berkeley (Bowl) I think. Couldn't pass up the Dad joke namesake. 1st review of this beer on BA.
Pours a yellow golden color, a light degree of clarity to it. 1/4" white head. Slight uptick in score for the cool label. The aroma was more on the wild ale side of things, with some of that pina colada kind of aromas of a tropical nature adjunct wise versus hop additions to get the achieved result of mostly coconut.
Taste is easy going enough, mimics the pina colada flavors some more, sweet coconut, lightly tart pineapple and lemon notes. In terms of the 4 beer staples, there isn't much discernable there malt, hops, yeast and water wise, I guess the light kettle souring makes the yeast discernable but that is about it. This beer is all about the adjuncts, and it seems to have used them in the right proportion and stages to make this beer end up where I imagine it aimed to go: a 3.5/10pt intensity sour scale with plenty of pina colada like notes.
This is another one that I wonder what ever happened to that sticker because it is pretty funny still to me.
