Look at me, writing the first review for this beer. You're welcome jabroni. Had this at BeerNV during that big runner before the Alabama show at Lake Tahoe.
Pours a yellow and orange color, 1/2" white head. This is slightly darker in color than your average for style. The aroma has a clean, kettle sourness going for it. Simple, elegant. Claims of a funk existence are more commercial tug job than truth, similar to a middle aged botox tinder profile who is new to your town. Town bike in a few older towns though.
The taste is nice, but also kind of away from that traditional berliner vibe. Equal parts kettle sour wild ale. The wheat is there, but its just a lemon smack after that. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Light grapefruit note but doesn't seem hop derived or too acidic. Mouth feel has plenty of pop in terms of lightness, sourness.
Id get a six pack of this. I had it on draft.
