Copenhagen 10/10 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Silver label with a Route 66 road sign. Has higher ABV (5,7) than noted here. Makes a point about being from the American Heartland.
Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin, patchy, flimsy layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense, sweet malty and a bit chemical. Not much sign of any hops. Sweet pale malts, caramel, grains. Hints of toffee. Unpleasant odor of glue lurking in the background.
Medium carbonation. Thin, watery, oily texture.
Flavor is fairly sweet followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers shortly.
Not much Hoppiness for a beer that calls itself an India Pale Lager. Reminds me more of a mediocre Pale Lager.

Taster at brewery. Medium amber pour, small ring of off-white head. Light leathery aroma, tannins. Weak taste, hoppy, dry, sticky. More IPA notes than IPL.
