This Pilsner is part of a fundraising effort to help save the Great Salt Lake. Having lost half its surface area, the Lake is only replenished by wasted runoff water and droughtless precipitation - both in decline. As a major migratory bird area, home to microbial species and the source of Lake-Effect snow, a dry Lake could expose harmful chemicals to Wasatch Front residents. Your awareness and voice is needed to help us Save The Lake.

I tried a can of this beer from a mixed 12pck whilst visiting a former teammate and good friend in Park City, Utah. It looked, smelled, and tasted like a typical pilsner beer. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Here's another review that escaped review from the Mountain West trial academy trip. Another one from that beer bar named beer I think.
Pours yellow, slight haze keeping this from clarity, thin head diminishes to a film. The aroma lacks much in the way of yeast or hops, and the grain angle is sufficient but not bright.
The taste seems like they added a trace of those harsh chemicals to scare you Greta style how dare you. I dunno, maybe they actually used water from the GSL. Mouthfeel was fine, lacked refinement, could have been drier, more enjoyable or easier to drink. Carbonation seemed up there but lacked holding a head or keeping mouthfeel as nice as your average pilsner often is. Little woody bitter aftertaste to it.
I prefer Horchata the song to the drink. I'm not sure if this is a false flag psyop, maybe they really do want to destroy the lake and this is all subterfuge in that regard. I wish this house extraction would go quicker, I've been watching this bodycam for hours. Anyways, I liked the song, and I give it the big pow wow.

12oz can dated August 2, 2024. Once again, Beer Drop has sent a woefully aged beer to me. When I use up my gift certificate, I will be dropping Beer Drop, make no mistake.
Poured into a 12oz "can glass," this was a pale golden amber that might have clear when fresh, but was now hazy like a glass of dirty water. Thin white head that quickly passed unremarked and unremarkable. No lace.
Herbal, grassy hop notes. No malt aroma present.
Bitter, herbal and musty tasting.
Flabby mouth feel. Nothing crisp about it.
Ugh. This might very well have been pretty good when fresh, and a fresh German style pils is a beautiful thing, but that's not what this is now. Beer Drop strikes again.

Pours a gold color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Floral notes with an aroma of breads. Taste is tangy with a slightly bitter finish. Crisp and dry.

From a can. Pours a brilliant clear golden yellow with a ring of foam. The nose is herbal and spicy hops. The flavor follows the nose with a little malt to even it out. Medium bodied and pretty flat.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the wine glass. Properly spritzy and slushy on the tongue. The aroma is quite peculiar-- more like laundry than beer. Quite malty with just a faint sweetness. The flavor is odd as well-- besides the initial cereal taste there is something musty and then a citrus tang. Maybe they added a dose of dried brine shrimp to keep with the theme. Aftertaste is woody with that strange nose of buttery laundry. From the 12 oz can purchased at Emigration Market.

16oz draft from Garage Grill into a shaker pint
Pours very light and crystal clear with a bright head that settles into a ring
Fairly faint aroma, likely too cold to pick it up
Great grain variety/multigrain, hop and subtle herbal notes
Sharp and crisp body
Overall a crisp and snappy pils that is pretty refreshing
