i believe made for the local baseball team and perhaps only available at their games, a simple blonde ale, done with honey i think, which makes good thematic sense, the beer is light overall and fairly clean, and does have a whisper of floral sweetness without having the honey real define it or be over the top, more of an accent, but this is solid, cleaner and somewhat more professionally refined overall than i have known from their other beers, so perhaps a mark of quality advancement. the base beer is yellow, just off clean, indeed honey colored, with a short but not absent white head. the nose and taste show some sweet orange, generic citrus but tidy, not too sugary or anything, pretty light on the malt, nothing really from the ferment, light orange blossom honey character maybe, summery and appealing without being too bold, and it doesnt come across as too flavored or anything. a little bit of body, better carbonation than it looks like, and something i would be quite happy to drink at a ballgame, which is what it seems to be designed for, but any summer activity will provide appropriate context for this. simple but pretty good, very repeatable. been awhile since i had anything from salt flats, this feels like an improvement over what i remember of their stuff...
