Imprint Beer Co. "Reptilian Focus"
$7/pint on tap at the brewery on 11 March 2023
Notes: A triple IPA at 9.1% ABV with Citra, Amarillo, Simcoe, Azacca, and Meridian hops.
Look: A milky pastel yellow-beige colored body is capped by a short head of white foam that drops shortly.
Smell: Limited aroma with some malty sweetness and some mixed citrus notes.
Taste: Initially minty, malty, and citrusy then minty, somewhat spicy and bitter before a dry finish with mint and some spiciness lingering.
Feel: Medium-full in body and gently zesty on the tongue.
Overall: Definitely unusual, so points for that, but how well does it come together? I'll say it's balanced but not particularly rounded.

From Good Times Oakland.
Pours almost like orange juice. Not hazy, cloudy. Canned February 9th.
Smells tropical, hoppy, somewhat boozy, okay I reckon
Taste is tropical fruitiness with pineapple and mango, very hoppy but not that much bitterness. For a beer that claims to be a Triple IPA, that is somewhat disappointing.
Good mouthfeel, overall I find it drinkable for the one can. I have no interest in drinking this again.

Pours a straw yellow with two fingers of rocky head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Taste follows nose. A tinge of sharp bitterness.

Big, juicy double NEIPA. A bit boozy, but still very, very tasty.
