2024 release. From a 500ml bottle.
After I got through the annoying wax on the bottle, I did let it sit out of the fridge for a bit to warm up. There's a slight hiss and smoke upon opening the bottle. This beer pours like motor oil - pitch black. Very thick looking. There's no head on this beer, just a tan circle in the glass that rotated and dissipated to nothing. Somewhat cool looking.
The aroma is just crazy. There's so much going on here. I get a strong chocolate note. I get a ton of marshmallow, peanut butter, vanilla and coffee. Jeez, these aromas are so intense and powerful, yet work together.
Taste - Wow! The flavor starts off with a chocolate hit, that is slightly sweet, but not too sweet. The chocolate is added to by a bit of a coffee hit. The peanut butter comes in next and just makes the flavor jump. The vanilla and marshmallow round it out. All the flavors are there in the end, and are just added to.
Thick, creamy full body. Smooth as all heck. Where's the burn? I'm not getting it, but I know to take it slow by the thickness.
Holy cow! This beer could be a sloppy mess, but, they just balanced the heck out of the flavors to produce an amazing beer.
