Way, way too sweet. This was one of the brews Imprint made for its first anniversary. The others were outstanding, so I had high hopes for this one, especially since it was a collab with New Trail, and the last Imprint-New Trail collab, Something Deep and Meaningful, was stunningly good. They called this one a "pastry lager" - meaning they conditioned it on cake batter and sprinkles. Looked and smelled ok, but did not suit my palate very much. You sure could taste that cake and sprinkles combo - this was incredibly sweet, almost undrinkably sweet. I finished the can but gave away the rest of the 4-pack.

Confusing. Smell is a basically a pils with a hint of lemon. Taste vanilla comes out of nowhere and fades quick. Exhaling after swallowing it's just lemon cake with vanilla icing. The finish is as clean as any other pilsner out there, Dry slight bitterness. Not nearly as heavy as I initially thought it would be. Repeated sips you can get that lemon cake with icing but it cleans up so fast! Light on the palate. All in all a very interesting and confusing beer. Absolutely worth a try. Crazy pils that had a name that fits.
