Really enjoyed this although there is no way I could call it a beer. Came out of the can like one of those ice drinks without the ice - just thick delicious foam. Then some of the heavier liquid settled out, but I swirled it up prior to each sip and drank it like a fruity milkshake. Taste was mildly tarty and nicely sweet. All about the red fruits. Could risk drinking this way too fast. Great non beer beer!!

This looks like you threw a ton of darker berries into a blender and then poured it in a glass. It’s super thick and reddish-purple in color with a thin and short lived pale red (yes, actually red) head. Aroma is chock full of blackberry, cherry, and currants. After the appearance and aroma this tastes just like you would expect; it’s an intense dark berry fruit smooth. There is tons of blackberry, cherry, currants, a hint of coconut, and a definite lactose sweetness and fullness and has a little sour acidity in the finish. This is full bodied and thick from all the fruit, it’s hard to nail down the carbonation through the thick body but I’d say this is pretty lightly carbonated. Overall this is a little uneven in terms of my level of enjoyment but it is consistently fruit forward. I can’t see wanting more than one of these but it was interesting to try.
