Pours a vibrant raspberry red in color with maybe a quarter inch of off white head that has pinkish hints. I think this might be clear-ish if it weren’t so densely colored. BPM stands for Boysenberry, Passion fruit, Mango; and the aroma and flavors scream of all those fruits. The fruits come in waves with boysenberry upfront, then sweet, slightly overripe passion fruit, and finally smooth mango. The finish has a moderate sour acidity and something that almost seems like a vanilla note. This is medium-ish in body with moderately low carbonation. Overall I’m very impressed with the way that the fruit flavors come through, they are absolutely intense but very true to the actual fruits themselves. After having a few different fruited beers from Imprint I’m finding that subtlety isn’t in their arsenal for their fruited sours but I do still find this enjoyable. This absolutely leans on the Intense fruited aspect as opposed to the sour but it is still tasty and drinkable.
