Heard a lot of good things about Imprint, but have not had any of their beers until this week when I tried 3, all of the Schmoojee variety.
Blown away at first by the awesome flavor and smooth pillowy feel. Categorized as a Kettle-Sour, but more like an alcoholic fruit smoothie.
My wife made the astute comparison to the old sherbet punch to which some of these have a striking similarity to.
Super tasty, soft, creamy, uber-crushable, maybe a touch too sweet, but the lightness keeps it from being cloying; similar on the sour notes which I can be temperamental about, but the soft feel makes any over indulgence seemingly dissolve on your tongue quickly.
The only problem is the question of to what degree we should call this beer. It seems more like dessert, especially when I need a spoon to dip in and enjoy the last few foamy scoops like a root beer float.
On all 3 beers I deducted some off each attribute for this deficiency; but I would highly recommend all 3.
OK, so I guess "Puffsicle" means liquified mashmallow. Looks like yellow-orange sherbet punch drink; super creamy look. Mango aroma is very nice.
Taste is sweet mango and marshmallow; ornage/pineapple are less prominent. A little too sweet maybe on this one.
Smooth and creamy, not at pillowy light as the Colada version.
