Imprint Beer Co. "Schmoojee Strawberry Margareeta"
16 fl. oz. can, "Canned ON 7/19/21"
Notes via stream of consciousness: "BEER WITH STRAWBERRIES, LIMES & ORANGES". It's poured a muddy dull reddish-orange body beneath a two finger's width head of reddish-pink-orange foam. This is definitely a milkshake beer. It's opaque because the entire body is made up of fruit pulp, proteins, and yeast. I know that some people can accept this, and I guess I'll have to because this is the style, but to me this is completely off-putting. The nose is definitely fruity. At first I thought of raspberry but then I corrected to strawberry. Now I'm thinking it's more of something else but there is still strawberry there. It tastes like a strawberry Starburst candy. It's not as sweet, of course, but it's close and the flavor is right, and there's a touch of acidity to it as well. There is a little bit of an orange and lime flavor but the strawberry dominates. It's odd because the mouthfeel is so fluffy. It's not actually thick but it comes of as thick, or at least, less liquidy. It doesn't feel like you're drinking a beer. In fact, it really does feel like a milshake, or at least some kind of dairy product. It's not bitter but the acidity helps to balance it, and I'm assuming there's some alcohol content although nothing is listed on the label. This would make a good dessert beer I suppose but it's a little too sweet and thick for me to drink as a regular beer.

can to snifter.
Heard a lot of good things about Imprint, but have not had any of their beers until this week when I tried 3, all of the Schmoojee variety.
Blown away at first by the awesome flavor and smooth pillowy feel. Categorized as a Kettle-Sour, but more like an alcoholic fruit smoothie.
My wife made the astute comparison to the old sherbet punch to which some of these have a striking similarity to.
Super tasty, soft, creamy, uber-crushable, maybe a touch too sweet, but the lightness keeps it from being cloying; similar on the sour notes which I can be temperamental about, but the soft feel makes any over indulgence seemingly dissolve on your tongue quickly.
The only problem is the question of to what degree we should call this beer. It seems more like dessert, especially when I need a spoon to dip in and enjoy the last few foamy scoops like a root beer float.
On all 3 beers I deducted some off each attribute for this deficiency; but I would highly recommend all 3.
Really like an Unfrozen Frozen Strawberry Margarita. Pulpy Strawberry, splashes of lime. Very tasty. Not as soft and pillowy as the Colada, but very good.
