Picked this up at Joe Canal’s recently, never having heard of Imprint before. Can't say that I've ever had anything like this and once again, it's hard to believe that something new that I reviewed on here was beer when this seemed to be anything but that from start to finish!
This looked like eggs both in hue and thickness as it had to have had the oddest looking head that I've ever seen on a beer. It easily overflowed the top of my pint glass and seemed like a solid as it took forever to settle and didn't even come close to dripping down the outside edge. Sheeting, rather than lacing, was left behind as the foam stuck around with this drying out to leave a thick film behind nearly all of the way down. Tons of cream, sherbet and mandarin were in the nose as the taste was incredibly sweet, smooth, and soda-like, as if I was downing something bottled from Stewart's. Some coconut emerged as this warmed up as all that was missing was a scoop of ice cream and a spoon to get the last of this out of the bottom of my pint glass.
With so much going on, who needs alcohol and sure, it had to be in here somewhere! You'd have too much fun enjoying this to feel it as this left me wanting to see what else Imprint was capable of. Dated 7/13, this somehow held up well and even if there was sediment in this, it would be impossible to notice. As odd as this was, I loved this beer and would easily reach for it again - even for dessert or in lieu of a pina colada. It's beers like this that make imbibing so enjoyable!

Heard a lot of good things about Imprint, but have not had any of their beers until this week when I tried 3, all of the Schmoojee variety.
Blown away at first by the awesome flavor and smooth pillowy feel. Categorized as a Kettle-Sour, but more like an alcoholic fruit smoothie.
My wife made the astute comparison to the old sherbet punch to which some of these have a striking similarity to.
Super tasty, soft, creamy, uber-crushable, maybe a touch too sweet, but the lightness keeps it from being cloying; similar on the sour notes which I can be temperamental about, but the soft feel makes any over indulgence seemingly dissolve on your tongue quickly.
The only problem is the question of to what degree we should call this beer. It seems more like dessert, especially when I need a spoon to dip in and enjoy the last few foamy scoops like a root beer float.
On all 3 beers I deducted some off each attribute for this deficiency; but I would highly recommend all 3.
Pina Colada is one of my favorite flavor combo's so this one is up my alley. Both Pineapple and Coconut are noticeble in boht Aroma and Taste.
Mandarin gives a nice sharp contrast to the pineapple/coconut and mixes well.
