The beer poured out a dark brown color, looking black in the glass; brown head, rich, thick, and spongy. Strong milk chocolate and cocoa smell; subliminal coffee notes. Sweet chocolate and cocoa flavors with a healthy dose of coffee bitterness; maple syrup. Heavy body; smooth and velvety; big residual sugar mouthfeel.
This is a well-crafted imperial coffee stout. It has killer looks and great all-around smell, taste and mouthfeel.
Pouring temperature: 47 °F; canning data: CANNED ON 08/19/21 CARA MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH

A - Pitch black pour with ultra-thin caramel colored lacing.
S - The nose on this beer is pretty amazing with a strong aroma of chocolate roast, coffee bean, caramel, and maple.
T - Tastes follows the nose with coffee ground bitterness, dark roast, chocolate, maple, caramel, and a lingering roasty coffee chocolate bitterness on the back side. There is some alcohol warming on the way down.
M - Full bodied, silky soft, pronounced warming in the back of the throat, and finishes very dry in the back of the mouth.
O - This beer is a pretty fantastic beer and tastes as advertised. Recommended.
