L - dark, thick and enticing. The head is minimal and could be better.
S - I’m biased because I love the smell of banana. The banana smell is upfront and in your face. The esters from the over powering banana scent may be too much for some!
T - sweet, fruity and overtly banana. The lack of peanut butter flavors surprised me! The flavor is balanced well between a traditional imperial stout’s booziness, flavors and maltiness. No major complaints on the flavor. my only complaint is that it is a little too sweet.
F - thick, chew and satisfying. I would have preferred a bit more effervescent to balance the chewiness, but no major complaints.
O- I like the banana flavor and I love imperial stout, so this should be a match made in heaven for me, but it was not quite perfect! Less sweetness, more effervescence and a head would have significantly improved the overall score for me! $24 per bottle was a little steep and I expected more - good, but not great. Has the potential to be great.
