Another summer, another Haze it Forward, another District 96 beer collab. Love it when things align this well ? News features our pocket pairing of Citra + Cashmere, then adds a nice spike from Vic Secret. Citrus blend juices, sliced tangelo, passionfruit icing, firm pineapples.

Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. No date on the can that I can see, but it sounds like it was released sometime in October.
Appearance: yellow-orange hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop, which leaves a little bit of lace as the head dissipates.
Smell: sweet with plenty of papaya and guava aroma; there's like a light grassiness here too that freshens it up a bit. A classic hazy tropical bomb, which you know I'm bound to like!
Taste: mango, guava, papaya, passionfruit, all atop a rather sweet malt base. It's really good. Maybe could use some kinda zing, because the fruit and sweetness together are just this side of cloying, but still really good.
Mouthfeel: medium-rich body with a good carbonation and a lovely, rich creaminess.
Overall: a really solid imperial hazy. Om nom nom!

2025 release. Can undated but based on the website it appears to have been canned 3.5 weeks ago. Poured into a snulip glass. It pours a murky, muddy tangerine color with a big, fluffy, milk-white head and sheen of lacing. The fruity nose features lemon, grapefruit, and whiffs of pineapple and oats. Its taste is primarily tart lemon, lime peel, and grapefruit rind with some sweeter tropical fruit notes. The Cashmere hops provide an earthy, herbal background and there is also a hint of pine sap. It's refreshing and drinks quite easily for the 8.4% ABV. Overall, Snake News is a solid collaboration but isn't quite at the level of D96's best work.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow golden, small bubbly head leaves streaky lacing. Musty, fruity aroma, fruit rind. Taste is fruity and malty, notes of tropical and stone fruit. Juicy, tangy, lingering bitterness. Fairly robust feel, thick.

This collaboration with District.96 was part of a 4 pack of different collaborations. Each offering was with a brewery that participated in Imprint’s “ Haze it Forward “ festival.
This one is a hazy DIPA. As with most of Imprint’s hazy IPAS this does not disappoint. Great muted golden haze. The smell is very subtle ripe tropical fruit. Super soft and smooth mouthfeel. The taste is fantastic. It doesn’t say on the can, but it’s very similar to other oat cream IPAS. It’s a shame that this is a “one-off” . I’d definitely buy more!
