Pours a muddy, gray-hued, strawberry rhubarb sludge that either has no head or is all head. There seem to be veins of carbonation that are effectively trapped in amber, with the volume expanding in the glass at a glacial pace. After many minutes, there’s still no clearing at the bottom of the glass though.
The nose has strong cherry vanilla and some Moxie.
The taste has cherry vanilla up front again, but maybe more of a root beer impression than Moxie or cola.
The feel definitely has some of that geological-time carbonation making the milkshake feel a bit airier than other Schmoojees.
I’d probably label this a cherry vanilla root beer float instead of cola float, but not bad overall.
