Only my third beer from Imprint, this one arrives in a 500ML bottle.

Black & dead. The nose is thickened coconut, earthy coffee, slight booze.

Seven Deadly Sins – Gluttony has pastry tattooed into its DNA. Chunky brownie batter that’s not apparent in the nose jumps out front. Mid-palate is that earthy coffee, nippy bourbon, & a sweetness that verges on overwhelming & less welcome as one advances (partly the influence of the vanilla). Drinkability takes a big hit.

Given half the bottle would have bumped this up about half a point, but the thick sweetness really begins to wear down the palate. Very good beer that tastes better than it’s final score.
