On tap at the source.
A - Hazy medium gold with minimal lacing.
S - Nose is citrus fruity but rather subdued.
T - Pineapple, melon, citrus, and apricot with a little bit of spiciness and light bitterness. Has some lingering bitterness on the palate after the sip.
M - Big body with prickly carbonation fighting it's way through the thickness.
O - Pretty decent!

It's a clean pour that empties the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug. Some foam forms, but it quickly dissipates and there's plenty of room to quickly empty the can. In the end, it looks like a darkened lemonade. Bright, yet opaquely yellow-amber is the color and there's no head. The aroma is of piney and/or resinous hops. There's not much of a contribution from the body's starches. This doesn't drink like the Modern American IPA and its looks may be deceiving. This is a filthy animal. There's a great disguising of the ABV, but it converts it into some kind of spiciness. It's not overly hopped, in the bitteringly and overpowering way of many Imperial IPAs. Nor is it overly sweetened by methods to make it seem fruity. There's plenty of hoppiness and yes, there might, God forbid, even be some barley malt in this one's wort. OK, you'll taste some alcohol, but at a 10% ABV, how much a sin? That's what gives it the spicy, almost minty character and it's enjoyable. This is one of the better mega-ABV IPAs. Typical for its potency, there was no glass lacing. But, by the conclusion of the pint, it really doesn't matter.

cloudy, moderately hazy golden orange color, off-white head. nice big fruity and dank hop aroma, and taste. medium level of underlying bitterness to balance it out. softer mouthfeel.
