We used all English malts, hops and yeast in this glorious English style barleywine. Inaudible shouts molasses, dark caramel, a small touch of dark fruits, and a firm EKG hop presence.

Pours a really nice amber with a tiny layer of head. The nose is full of toffee, with secondary notes of grass, malts, and slight hops. I wouldn't not have guessed that this was an English barleywine just from the nose.
The taste is super nice. Definitely gives off an American barleywine vibe. Citrus peel hops, toffee, grass, wet leather, oak, and a nice plum note. Very enjoyable.

16 oz can
Pours into my mug with some flecks of sediment, so it's not clear until that settles to the bottom of the glass. Dark amber in color, with cream colored head. Decent aroma of rich caramel and a touch of fig. Similar flavor, a bit of butterscotch in there. Good but not overly complex. Pretty good balance, not too sweet. Which given Imprint's normal style was something I was worried about, and the reason I only picked up a single of this instead of a 4-pack. Sticky mouthfeel

This a really nice English barleywine. I get lots of tea, potpourri, dried fruits, and toffee before a long, dry, lightly bitter finish. I can't say that the nitrogen did anything to add or detract from this.

Really true to style English Barleywine. Beautiful color. Almost sherry-like aroma. Very thin delicate head. Velvety smooth mouthfeel with a dry finish. Overall, an excellent Barleywine!
