6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Appearance is an oily pitch black. Zero head, zero lacing. Aroma and flavor feature sweet maple, dark chocolate, bourbon, coffee, vanilla, and booze but not overly much given the abv. IMO this is somewhat unbalanced - too sweet, too heavy on the maple - but it's still pretty tasty and surprisingly easy to drink. Glad I tried it, but I wouldn't seek it out again.

My first encounter with Imprint was a straight up big stout that I really enjoyed, so I’m hoping piling some of my favorite stuff on it/a relative works even better. 500ML gold-waxed bottle.
The pour is black & limp. The nose clashes with itself, the bitter roast with the sweetness of (one presumes) the syrup. Not bad.
Lumberjack – Bourbon Barrel Aged hides its additions well. Coffee would be a welcome addition to cut block the sweetness, which is amped to 11. Cocoa nibs? Maybe. Maple syrup? Yup, that comes across in spades & I heart syrup (ever had barrel-aged maple syrup? If not, go, now, & try it). Bourbon is understated & doesn’t peek out from behind the hedge until it’s thirty minutes away from the fridge. Nice full mouthfeel, & the theme of simplicity means I could drink plenty with a mindless mindlessness.
Sweet. Bourbon. End. A double-celled organism that is strangely appealing & tasty. Very good beer.
