Poured from a cellar-temp can into a 16oz pint glass. Appearance is opaque black with no light getting thru. Had a brief 1-finger rich brown head that receded to a thin ring of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is peanut butter, roasty malt, chocolate, brown sugar.
Taste follows the nose with a punch of peanut butter cups and rich roasty malt.
Mouthfeel is as full bodied as you can get. Alcohol is slightly warming but is very well-concealed. Some carbonation making this very smooth and velvety.
Overall, this is 1000% as advertised. An 11% Imperial Stout made with bits of PB Cups. This is sweet, not going to lie. Probably too sweet for a beer but it sorta works for what it is. Literally like drinking a glass of melted Reeses PB Cups. Enjoyable as a dessert beer, couldn't drink more that 1 in a sitting though personally. I would get this again.

16 ounce can, canned on 07/18/24. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about a half inch tan head. Head retention is good, and there's not much lacing at all. The brew smells like dark chocolate, peanut butter, roasted malt and caramel. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark bready and earthy flavors noticeable too. Does lean more sweeter tasting but not overwhelmingly so. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one, certainly worth a try especially if you like pastry stouts!
