The first impression upon cracking open a pint can is how much the smell of cola fills the air. That gets amplified as the entire contents of the can were emptied into a clear glass liter mug. It is truly an amazing dichotomy to smell this much cola and look at a liquid that's dull yellow-amber and almost murky in color. There's a little vanilla and orange to smell, too, if you seek it. Most assuredly, there's nothing beer-like to its aroma. But, that's the way with Imprint Schmoojees. The taste is better balanced between the cola, vanilla and orange than the smell. It's still a remarkable achievement to get this much cola flavor into a beer, whether you like this sort of thing, or not. There's little glass lacing, although the body, likely compliments to the lactose, is smooth and supple, without being sticky. Dessert beers are understandablely not for everyone, but points must be awarded here for delivering the intended taste.
