A likely one off, with little details available. The brewer's description is that's it's a sour smoothie/pastry beer. Very little help there and lacking a Beer Advocate category. So, other than a heavily fruited and lactose infused concoction, as Imprint does well and often, there's no expectations. This version is murky rose-amber in color, with a never-say- die head that's just a little less colorful. It smells sweet and fruity in a berry way. It's a dessert beer, by taste, as it's sweet, fruity and creamy due to the added milk sugars. This is tasty enough, but is it a real beer? As much as the lactose contributes to the mouthfeel, it's notably not overly thick, nor sticky. This goes across the tongue and down the throat amazingly easily, considering the viscosity of the liquid. Very sweet to the taste, the finish is actually reasonably clean. There's no trace of hops here, but there are plenty of modern hazies that are also guilty of that. Best guess, it's raspberries contributing to the flavor. Begrudgingly, even a lover of traditional IPAs might like it.
