A pour to entirely empty the contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug revealed a thick liquid creamy pink violet in color. Likely few other brews look like this. There's excessively foamy head, just a little lighter, but with the same basic color. The aroma released has chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and milky notes. Unlike many foamy heads, this one doesn't recede much at all. It drinks like a milkshake, just a little lighter and the fruit has a little more bite. The strawberry and chocolate are both there to taste in excellent balance. Of course, with its fruity sweetness and hefty dose of chocolate and lactose, this is obviously a dessert beer and should be appraised as such. It's not too sweet, or at least its sweetness is matched by a fruity bite and it's full of flavor. The glass lacing is irregular and thick, like that of a milkshake. The mouthfeel is much less sticky than what could be expected.This is good, perhaps very good, as what it is, a novelty dessert beer.
