Deep hazy and slightly murky faded golden color with no visible activity. Slightly foamy light beige 2 finger head, lasting around 2-5 minutes, with good lacing and swirl reaction but not much legs. Flavors of pineapples, orange, clove, light butter and caramel, mint, tea, sweet barley, and herbal hops. Slick and oily full body with a moderate crisp. Very strong strength finish, thick spicy astringent tongue coat of orange peels and clove. Also a bit piney and leafy, but dominantly tropical and citrusy. Quite bold and a tad too powerful for my taste. Still the balance is pretty good and the freshness is okay, well built for those looking for high intensity. Complexity is decent having a low caramel feel and well hidden alcohol. Overall high quality craft.

A-Appearances golden yellow with a nice white head that lingers. Good lacing
S-All Citra aroma with notes of citrus fruit and rind and a tropical medley Bouquet.
M-Mouth feel it’s a little bit rough with high carbonation that adds a peppery note that distracts from the nice pop flavours
T-Quite bitter upfront with a very subtle sweetness in a very dry format
O-This is a very nice double IPA that keeps the Citra hops at the forefront, I feel like it is missing just a little sweet counterbalance

Can: Poured a hazy golden color ale with a large slightly off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops with light bitterness noticeable. Taste is a mix of juicy hops with citrusy notes and light grapefruit ester with some residual sugar with some noticeable bitterness that can be tasted. Body is about average with good carbonation. Enjoyable but some refinement could be made to improve this beer.
