A: Pours a really nice pink-ish red color with an amber tint. The head is white with a touch of pink in it and is quite creamy with extremely impressive retention. Lacing is just as good.
S: Actually smells like a lambic, I am VERY impressed. You have a ton of tart raspberries and blackberries (from the mash), some light belgian yeast spices in the background with cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom. Some very very light malt neutral sweetness. No hop presence.
T: Although it smells like a legit lambic, it doesn't taste like one. There is almost no tartness in the taste that you'd expect with a beer of this genre and almost no sourness. You get quite a bit of raspberries and blackberries and the yeast notes are still there with a fresh and dry cardamom dominant note but also with cloves, nutmeg and tiny bit of cinnamon. The barrel aging is noticeable with some oak tannins. I'm a bit conflicted as this is a very good tasting beer but it is not a "true" lambic.
M: Extremeley light and fluffy, carbonation texture is on point. No residual sugars at all in the feel.
O: I'm conflicted. I expected a traditional lambic with all the tartness and sourness you'd expect with the genre and in the end I got what I would categorized personally as more of a fruit wheat beer than anything else. Still, it is an excellent fruit wheat beer and I won't deduce points for not being representative enough of the genre.

Poured into a little open mouth glass. Really nice nose ( winey, tart, fruity ). Look fizzy with little foam. In mouth it’s awesome. All previous mentioned confirm their self. It’s a really well constructed beer with complex aromas. The barrel aging in Californian wine mixed with the tart taste of little berries and grape is fabulous!
