Canned 04/03/20
Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color, with an off-white, frothy two-finger width head that displays good retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds with a healthy ring around the edge of the glass. Strong lacing, with broken sheeting, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Orange and peach, caramel and a fair amount of dank character in the aroma.
Taste - Follows the nose. Has a bit of a candied orange flavor upfront, and perhaps a splash of peach ring too? Hint of grass or leafy bitterness. Sweet caramel malt riding beneath throughout. Mild but noticeable dank note comes through in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair carbonation. Slick, but also a bit soft and velvety, giving way to an easy, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Good beer, but maybe a bit too "West Coast" than I like for the style.
