Copenhagen 1/9 2020. 44 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. Drawing of three decked cake showered with chocolate and a strawberry on top on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a very strong sweet odor of chocolate, toffee, brown sugar, coffee liqueur. Cake-like, sugary quality.
Light carbonation. Thick, soft, smooth, silken, viscous texture. Fat and creamy.
Flavor is intense with a strong, sugary sweetness followed by a very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingering into a sweet finish with a touch of alcohol.
You can have your cake and eat it too. And get a bit drunk.

16oz can from Half Time. Dark brown pour, some tan bubbles, then it settles out. Aroma is peanuts, dark chocolate, light strawberry. Taste brings more peanut butter cup flavors, strawberry jam trailing. More like chocolate covered strawberries and peanut butter cups than a PB&J sandwich.

Poured fridge cold to a tulip glass. Pretty solid. Nose is dark chocolate and peanut butter. First sips are Neapolitan ice cream, plus some peanut butter. Big sips are like drinking melted Neapolitan ice cream, with a steady background of peanut butter. Mouthfeel is medium thick. Alcohol hides, but brings a little warmer several sips in.
