Copenhagen 23/11 2021. 44 cl can from Fish & Beer, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Gaudy sunset with a box car with surf boards and a rolling sea.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden orange with a big white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a pleasant sweet odor of tropical fruit and milkshake mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Peach and mango. Strawberry ice cream. Grapefruit and lemon.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, creamy, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric, slightly searing bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Very nice DIPA. Well balanced between the pleasant, tropical milkshake and the searing citric bitterness.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Madla, ABV is 8%. A collab between two breweries, but brewed at a third brewery (FrauGruber) which is not credited in the collab. Can't remember if I have seen that variety before. "Dirty" and opaque yellow to orange colour, huge white head. Aroma of tropical fruits and citrus. Fizzy mouthfeel, overcarbonated. The flavour is citric and vinegary, tastes infected. Unbalanced and not as good as expected.
