For this specific imperial stout we selected the most freshly emptied and flavourful Bourbon barrels. Deisidaimonia is our new offering aged for more than a year in a selection of Wild Turkey, Woodford and Heaven Hill barrels in order to create a multilayered Bourbon character.

De OkassionalBeer. En copa Mahou Barrica. Con almendras naturales. Jugando a Uncharted 3. Más que a bourbon le encuentro un perfil a vino tinto que, sin estar mal, se hace algo cansino y no es lo que esperabs

Pours a clear dark brown and mahogany red color; opaque in the glass; thin yet lasting tan head, fairly dense texture. Fantastic dark roasted grain nose infused with a balanced presence of bourbon. The taste ramps up the aroma notes; richer, darker, sweeter in presence; dark milk chocolate; very slight grain char; subtle yet pleasing undercurrent of whiskey. Heavy body; dense; coats the palate with residual sugars.
No dating or ABV info noted on the label, plus the somewhat confusing info about the brewery - Brewed and packaged by Sori Brewing in Estonia or Sevevisland Brewery and / or Seven Island Brewery. Regardless, the beer is well-balanced and nicely complex; a great example of outstanding barrel aging.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma of caramel, coffee and roasted malts. Taste is sweet caramel and chocolate with a pleasant alcohol warmth.
